1st WORK4ALL-MH Workshop

8 octobre -8h30 à 17h30

This one-day research workshop will bring together scholars in psychology, economics, and law to discuss the links between work, mental health, and well-being.

The presentations will address, among other topics, the role of work institutions and social norms in mental health, with contributions by Helena Svaleryd (Uppsala University) and Coen van de Kraats (Erasmus University Rotterdam); work-related causes of mental health conditions and the prevention of psychosocial risks, with Birgit Greiner (University College Cork) and Aude Cefaliello (ETUI – ULB); as well as the effects of digitalization, working from home and internet access on psychological well-being, with Ilan Tojerow (ULB) and Benjamin W. Cowan (Washington State University). The final session, with Sophie Selusi (Université de Montpellier) and Vanessa De Greef (ULB), will focus on the shift from individual suffering to collective risks, exploring what litigation, work organization and legal frameworks can teach us about better preventing these risks.
